James Arness died today at the tender age of 88.
You may have known him as Matt Dillon in Gunsmoke. He also had a baby brother who you may have heard of, Peter Graves.
Gunsmoke is still the longest running prime time series in history, showing over 650 episodes from 1955 to 1975.
