Two days ago, I wasn’t going to vote for anyone for Pres. I can’t fully support the R, D or L. They are all progressives, the differences are really just shades of gray.
Since I am a conservative, a true Classic Liberal, this is a huge issue for me. We are faced with the most trying election in all of our lifetimes. There are no good choices. That is pretty typical for me, the only Republican nominee that I’ve supported in the primaries was Ronald Reagan. I was TEA Party before there was a TEA Party. It is really Constitutional Conservatives, with libertarian leanings. I am radical in the sense that our Founding Fathers laid out in our founding documents. Our country was founded on the radical idea that we the people have rights, sovereignty and liberty. What followed was the most successful nation in history mostly due to limited and restrained government as applied to the citizens, we the people. Continue reading Vote for Pence→
Hillary and Trump are starting to heat up. Trump calls Hillary a bigot, Hillary calls Trump a racist.
The polls are the polls, Hillary is still in the lead by 3 to 5 points. I won’t be dealing with any of that in this post, instead it primarily concerns the ridiculous politically incorrect nonsense foisted upon us by marxists across the country today.
It has been crystal clear since the Iranian Green Revolution that Obama has been on Iran’s side. We should want them to fall, for a very large variety of reasons.
Instead, we seem to be supporting Iran, who are Russian and Syrian allies, and who are also the largest state sponsor of terror, including and especially against Israel. While the CIA had plans in place to support democratic uprisings whereever they may occur, we have learned that Obama told them to stand down during Iran’s “Green” Revolution.
>> John Brennan, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, said last week that there was evidence much of the money Iran has received from sanctions relief was being used for development projects. “The money, the revenue that’s flowing into Iran is being used to support its currency, to provide moneys to the departments and agencies, build up its infrastructure,”<<
Sure John. That is why we paid 400 million in cash, through Swiss Francs and Euros. It is after all illegal to send US currency to Iran, to say nothing of a wire transfer isn’t it? Aren’t you the guy who converted to Islam during Gulf War I?
No, not that Mufasa, although my daughter did name her new German Shepard Dog puppy Mufasa when she brought him to the farm for the first year of so of his life. What the hell kind of name is Mufasa I asked, and was given the short version of the Lion King. I had somehow neglected to have watched it.
She later moved on with her ex, new husband and I didn’t see Mu for a few years. Somehow things didn’t work out after another three or four years, and my daughter and Mufasa came back. My daughter left after a few weeks, but Mu stayed on, since she couldn’t take him with her. In some kharmic way I guess, Mu was our dog now.
Mufasa was a joy to have around, he was very loyal, obeyed commands without complaint, and of course he shedded constantly. He had a half acre of fenced in playground to romp around in with our other dogs, it must have been pretty close to doggie heaven for him. After three years or more of my not having any contact with him, he recognized and remembered me instantly. He would go into extreme attack mode if he ever saw a young white male with either a shaved head or a tight crew-cut. I think he had some bad experiences with someone fitting that description during the time he was away from the farm.
I have edited a few posts I made at FaceBook concerning our experience with Mu’s case of Degenerative Myelopathy, or DM. We did not discover what his condition was until it was too late, had we recognized it earlier we might have been able to take certain steps to make things better, primarily with diet and exercise. I would advise anyone with a German Shepard Dog to at least become familiar with this disease so that you can recognize the symptoms at an earlier stage. There is a very good chance that your dog will be faced with this devastating, incurable disease one day. It is a canine version of Lou Gehreg’s disease, ALS.
Trump seemingly has a few good points going for him. He says he will stop the insanity of admitting middle east “refugees”, and wants to clamp down on illegal immigration. I’d like to know what he wants to do about so-called central American “refugees” whom Obama is inviting into our fair country, and once here, is lavishing resettlement and benefits galore. He wants to take care of the Vets and fix the VA, but on most other issues, he is just another progressive liberal. That is why the RINOs like him, and they can count on him to be willing to make a deal. After all, he is the self-professed king of the deal.
Trump is not an outsider, and his business acumen is also open to question. The RINOs have declared war on Constitutional TEA Party conservatives, you know, us little people who gave them the House and later the Senate in order to stop Obama, and instead betrayed us by giving Obama everything he wanted, even after we got Boehner tossed as Speaker. I’ll stop right here, more comments below.
Welcome to RichTAkes! On the RINO National Convention!
Check out the Trump and Hillary look-a-likes near the end!
I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that the RNC reminds me more of a wake, instead of a look ahead at a future to support and believe in. Erick Erickson’s coherent thoughts on what is happening to the party at the RNC.
>> . . . it is just meaningless team sport in favor of their team. There is no substance, just sloganeering that means as much to each person and is taken as much differently by each person as “hope and change” was in 2008.
So much could have changed, but nothing will. And in four years, the very people who lamented Trump only to jump on his train cheerleading to the end will be back at it again because “not Clinton.” <<
McConnell promised to crush the TEA Party over two years ago. After smashing Bevin with Trump’s support, McDaniel, Cruz, Stutzman, and others, the RINOs are now attacking Tim Huelskamp.
The irony of the GOPe defeating Stutzman for the IN Senate nomination is that they will probably now lose that seat. I don’t think they even care. Former Governor and Senator Evan Bayh tossed his hat into the ring last week. Bayh will probably win on name recognition alone. Stutzman would have had a chance, but this Young guy, hand-picked by McConnell, is an unknown back-bencher.
Under the rules of the convention, a majority of seven delegations could force a roll vote on the rules; it would then take a majority of the delegates to toss the rules committee’s book. At least 11 states signed on: Colorado, Washington, Utah, Minnesota, Wyoming, Maine, Iowa, Virginia, Alaska, North Dakota, and Washington D.C.
So the secretary of the convention hid behind a curtain to avoid having to accept the signatures.
” [sic] My job stopping Cruz is over, so I’m suspending my campaign”. Kasich’s sole purpose was to stop Cruz, nothing else makes any sense.
What the Indiana results really mean is a yuge Establishment win, and also a knock-down blow to the TEA Party. It is about Trump, but that is really just the tip of the ice-berg. The RINOs are laughing with glee that they forced out Cruz, and defeated many patriot candidates in the process. The GOP establishment knows that they can “work with” Trump, not so much with Cruz.
McConnell and his national Republican senate campaign fund swooped into several states, recruited reliable hacks and actively fought against constitutional conservatives and TEA Party candidates. Indiana is a good example of that, they recruited and ran Todd Young against a proven conservative, Marlin Stutzman. Young’s establishment bona-fides are without question: he is a former aide to Dick Lugar, whom we primaried out years ago. The ad campaign was brutal, and predictably was filled with nothing but lies. Somehow they convinced voters that Stutzman was the establishment pick, and a “career Politician”. Stutzman was a two-term Congressman. He is also a farmer who owns a small ag-oriented trucking fleet, and a true Patriot.
The pattern is like shampoo: lather, rinse, repeat. Conservative TEA Party activists gave Republicans the House, and later the Senate, who repaid them by spitting on them. The RINOs have shown that they are not really interested in the issues and platforms which they claim to support. When a real Constitutional conservative comes along who wants to limit the federal government, and get back to what made our country exceptional in the beginning, they do everything in their power to defeat them. Cruz and Stutzman are only the latest victims to fall to RINOs, McDaniel in LA, and Bevin in KY are two other recent high-profile examples.
Trump demanding that we must fall in line is ridiculous. It is Trump’s job to unite the party, and I don’t see that happening any time soon. At this point, I don’t think that an apology will be enough.
I put together a slideshow of graphics that I’ve been working on for the past few days, plus a few others which I thought appropriate. I hope you enjoy, and I pray that you don’t fall for the propaganda. Vote for Ted Cruz!
